Government guidelines recommended that all schools in the UK should now be establishing links with community sport clubs to provide activities during school holidays in support of working parents.

By 2010, schools will need to prove that they have links with trusted sports clubs in the community, for the purpose of providing care during school holiday periods as well as before and after the school working day.
